Our T-shirt designs are based upon the drawings of Josué Diaz Alvarado. His drawings are inspired by the natural environment and culture that are unique to Nicaragua. This shirt depicts the main character from Nicaragua’s signature folkloric masterpiece combining music, dance and theater. The word Güegüense is derived from an indigenous word meaning “old man” or “wise man.”
